Strawberries serve more than just fulfilling the sweet tooth. It is packed with hordes of health benefits, making a nutritious fruit for mind and body.

In this article, we steering a a little away from our usual restaurant and cafe visits. I would like to tell you a little something about strawberries. Not just any normal strawberries that you can buy off the shelf in Jusco or Metro.

Ok, imagine this .... think of a hot sunny afternoon, you're dying to have something cold down your throat. You help yourself with some nice, juicy Strawberry On Sticks 岩石糖 草莓. The moment you sink your teeth on it, you can feel the sweet crispy crush of the melted rock sugar, followed by the slighty sourish cold strawberry and the taste is ..... glorious ! And if that doesn't make your tastebud go tingling, I don't know what else can. Come on, trust me on this and go try it out ...

Strawberries On Sticks are available from Sunway Pyramid, LG level and also MidValley Megamall, also on the LG level.

Some nutitional facts about strawberries ....

Strawberries are not only good to eat, they are also "good for us." They are an especially tasty source of vitamin C (ascorbic acid). In fact, one cup of fresh strawberries provides about 88 milligrams of ascorbic acid, which more than meets the Recommended Daily Dietary allowance of 45 milligrams for the average adult. Vitamin C is well retained when the strawberries are handled carefully. Capping, injuring, cutting, or juicing, however, will reduce the vitamin content.
Strawberries are low in calories: one cup of unsweetened strawberries has only 55 calories. So if you are on a reducing diet, use strawberries to add flavor, food value, and pleasure to meals. You can even eat some as a between-meals snack.
